Amazing Race All Stars Romps Through Macau

Filed under : Events, General, Sports

For the tenth leg of the Amazing Race All Stars, the teams had to travel by ferry to Macau, China.  In Macau, teams traveled by taxi to Macau Tower.  At Macau Tower, there was a yield.  Danny and Oswald were out of cash, so they offered to yield whoever Dustin & Kandice wanted in exchange for money.  Dustin & Kandice agreed and said to yield Eric & Danielle.

At the top of Macua Tower, teams encountered a roadblock called “Sky Jump.”  In “Sky Jump,” one team member had to walk around the outer rim of the observation deck and then use the world’s highest permanent descender to jump off the tower.  After completing the roadblock, teams traveled by taxi to Lou Lim loc Garden.

At Lou Lim loc Garden, teams encountered a detour choice between “Noodle” and “Dragon.”  In “Noodle,” teams had to make two bundles of noodles using traditional methods.  In “Dragon,” teams had to carry a drum and a dragon head three quarters of a mile and attach the dragon head to a dragon boat.  Danny & Oswald were the only team to choose “Dragon,” and they got lost which dropped them to last place.

After completing the detour, teams traveled by taxi to find a Mini Moke, which is a small vehicle.  Teams had to drive their Mini Mokes to Triho De Taipa Pequena 2000, which was the pit stop for this leg of the Amazing Race.  Charla & Mirna struggled to drive the Mini Moke.

Dustin & Kandice arrived in first place, and they each won a brand new wave runner.  Eric & Danielle arrived in second place, but they had to wait out a thirty minute penalty for finishing in last place on the last leg of the race.  Charla & Mirna arrived before the end of Eric & Danielle’s penalty and claimed second place.  Eric & Danielle wound up in third place.  Danny & Oswald arrived in last place, but it turned out to be the last non-elimination leg.  However, they were marked for elimination, meaning they have to arrive in first place on the next leg or incur a thirty minute penalty.
