New Zealand race driver Brendon Hartley, a British F3 front-runner this season, will compete in the Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix next month.
The FIA Formula 3 Intercontinental Cup will feature 30 leading drivers from the various national championships compete for the unofficial Formula 3 world cup, Motorsport.com reported.
Organisers say a win at Macau can guarantee the driver a place in a top GP2 team or, in the case of exceptional talent, an invitation to move up to Formula 1, reports DVS.
Four days of racing will start on November 13, with the F3 events on November 15 and 16.
Hartley will be part of a four-car team from Carlin Motorsport, with Oliver Turvey, a championship-contender in British F3, and series’ rival Jaime Alguersuari of Spain and Marcus Ericsson of Sweden.
